We have had a busy few months here at KP Solicitors. Firstly, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jo Fletcher to the firm in March 2026. Jo joined us after the collapse of PM Law in February, returning to the Belper area where she has previously worked for a number of years. She has hit the ground running, rapidly taking on a full case load and bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm. April saw the arrival of our new Paralegal, Will Murray. Will is hoping to expand his knowledge and experience in the property department and has been undertaking training to support the accounts department. Like Jo, he has fit seamlessly into the firm and they are both already valued members of the team.

Kim Favill, officially retired from her role as Director and Consultant Licensed Conveyancer in May of this year. Kim has long been a key member of staff at KP, stepping into the role of interim Director in 2025 during a particularly turbulent time in our history. Her dedication to her clients and her colleagues was something Kim was, and will always be, greatly respected for. We are extremely grateful to Kim not only for her service, but also her friendship over the six years she was with us. We all wish her a relaxed and peaceful retirement.

Kim's retirement led the way for Martin Salt to step into the role of director in her place. He and Stephen have already begun working on their vision for the firm moving forward. Exciting times are ahead....

June brought with it a huge cause for celebration. Our very own Yasmin Fox finally received her Licence certificate confirming her admission to the CLC register of Licensed Conveyancers. We are all incredibly proud of her for her years of hard work and dedication. Congratulations, Yasmin!!
